AYA, symbolized by the fern, embodies resilience, resourcefulness, and endurance. Our mission and vision focuses on addressing inequities through organizational strategy and transformation, equipping leaders with the tools and strategies to reimagine and reshape systems for lasting impact.

We value accountability and understand the consequences of inaction and misalignment. We help leaders, teams, and organizations align intent with impact through strategic action, while continuously measuring, assessing, and evaluating results.
Grounding Foundations
AYA Consulting Firm recognizes the strength and power of our stories and experiences and uses a foundation in critical consciousness to build the capacity of our leaders. Our ability to be aware, informed and conscious to our experiences and narratives create conditions for people to truly align theory to action past our subconscious. We support transformation and change management through creating the conditions for aligned behavior and actions towards progress and growth.
Our practices and strategies have a foundation in constructivist theory which affirms that people develop their own understanding and knowledge of the world, through experiencing life and reflecting on those experiences. While many trainings are grounded in content, our research backed and human-centered design, requires a full integration of the foundations of this theory, which grounds in an individual’s ability to increase awareness and consciousness to their own experiences and narratives.
Understanding an individual’s cognitive integration of their expereinces is critical to facilitating healing and culturally responsive development strategies and practices. We acknowledge the harmful impacts of the past and explicitly integrate critical consciousness, acknowledgement & healing at the foundation of our work with clients.
We believe that leadership exists within and in order to truly reimagine and transform institutions and systems, we ground in this approach in creating real and lasting impact and results.
